About Martyna & Baba Yaga Jewellery

༄ bringing stories to life through wearable art ༄

Martyna is the founder and creative force behind Baba Yaga Jewellery, a brand born from her passion for handmade, unique pieces crafted from recycled silver. A jewellery artist and design graduate of the University of the Arts London, Martyna’s work beautifully merges the mystical with the modern for a bold, contemporary edge.
Living and working from the intimate setting of her narrowboat home, she draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of folklore stories, mystical creatures, and elements of playful sensuality. Her creations embody a spirit of fun and empowerment, embracing a bold, sex-positive aesthetic while remaining deeply rooted in ethical craftsmanship.

All of Martyna's pieces are sustainably made in the UK using recycled silver, ensuring her work aligns with a commitment to eco-conscious practices.  Each piece tells its own story, with many being one-of-a-kind or custom made to order, offering a personal connection to the wearer.

The name 'Baba Yaga' is rooted in Slavic folklore, representing an enigmatic and powerful witch-like figure who embodies independence, wisdom, and mystery. This name perfectly captures the spirit of Martyna’s work, which blends the magical with the modern, creating pieces that empower the wearer with their unique story.
Combining folklore, kink, and eco-conscious craftsmanship, Baba Yaga is a celebration of the mystical and the sensual, designed for those who dare to be different.
